Do they make faucet diverters that go on the BASE of the faucet rather than the opening spout?

I have a portable dishwasher that you're supposed to attach to a faucet, but I already have a water filter attached to my faucet. Can I attach a diverter to my faucet so that I can have both attached at the same time?
