Reversing a popular question: Did you vote against Obama because of his race or because of your white bigotry?

I voted for Obama and his race was part of it (a small part). I've heard several people mention that it might be harder for anti-Americans in other countries to bash the president when he looks like them and has a Muslim name. It appears to be true, because Iran has been refraining from attacking Obama personally, preferring to continue to attack Bush.
