Does the Bible teach that ity is equivalent in sin to eating shellfish?

The Bible teaches that sin is sin. There is no greater or lesser sin, just sin. As such, the penalty is the same. All sin, whether we view it as small or large is not the issue. If we tell a "white lie", we still lie. Note that there is no distinction between the two in the Bible. Be well.
