What changes occur in your cervix before you give birth?

hi, baby is almost ready to come out now (yay!) so it's probably the head pushing down on your cervix while baby is preparing to enter the world. the cervix plug comes out as a kind of muck that looks a bit like bloody congealed chicken fat lol (sorry if it's tmi!), just take it easy for the next few weeks and get ready for baby! xx
