How can I get rid of a ball full of puss that is located right next to the piercing on the cartilage of my ear?

a few weeks ago, I got ear pierced on the cartilage. and just a few days ago, i noticed a small ball right next to the earing that is squishy and i think it has puss in it. it is really annoying, can anybody tell me hwo to get rid of it? any help would be greatly appreciated :)
