What is this Greek myth called?

it was about this man who was amazing at this instrument and this girl always follows him. he eventually marries her. he always spends time with his wife inside and doesn't go out. because of this, the people get angry because they cant hear his music, and one day someone runs after the wife and she is bitten by a snake and dies. the man is upset and goes to the underworld o get her back. he does, but he cant look back at her until they are out though. just to make sure that she's there, he looks back at the last moment and she disappears. (from this point on, i've heard 2 different ends)
