Good Song for Crucible Project?

The title says it all really. I'm doing a final for school on Arthur Miller's The Crucible, and I need some good background music. I'd prefer it if it was instrumental, or had few words, but feel free to throw out ideas. Also, no rap/hiphop. Some examples I'm thinking of are the theme from The Exorcist, and Rob Zombie - Sawdust in the Blood. They have to be dark/sad/scary though.
