Fishermen/women has this ever happened to you?

I'm talking about getting hooked? A few days ago I got hooked by my crank-bait in the leg. Yeeeoww! Went in way past the barb. Had to go to the ER. They ended up numbing my leg, pushing the hook through, cutting off the barb, and pulling it back out. So what are your stories?
