When should teenagers be allowed to veto family outings?

well first of all, family activities are things the FAMILY likes to do..not what you like to do and want them to come, ask them what they would like to do, teenage boys dont think their parents are cool and dont want to hang out with them...sorry just relax, its parenting not novelty hour
